MW Creative and Bosom Buddies NT welcome you to Listen You Women’s new website. Five years ago, the Listen You Women DVD was launched in Alice Springs and is still considered by health organisations, health professionals, elders and community members to be one of the most relevant educational tools on the market. The stories of five Aboriginal women diagnosed and recovering from breast cancer speak to many women living in remote areas. The DVD has been screened in many Central Australian communities and at health centres and communities in Broome, Bathurst Island, Fitzroy Crossing, far north Queensland and Tasmania, to name a few.
As a part of the launch of the new online site, we are running a fundraising campaign.
Please support the work of Bosom Buddies NT Breast Cancer Support Group, Alice Springs, by making a donation.
Your donations will support women in remote areas who are recovering from Breast Cancer and also provide funds for:
· Aboriginal women to travel to attend Breast Screening to enable earlier detection
· Support workshops on breast cancer awareness in remote communities
· Women from remote areas to attend National Conferences and educational workshops
